The Kentucky Wesleyan College football team closes out their season this weekend, hosting Alderson Broaddus in the G-MAC Founders Cup. Kick off is slated for 12 pm CT on Saturday at Independence Bank Field at Steele Stadium.

The six members of the Class of 2020 will be honored with a pre-game ceremony along the Panther sideline at 11:45 am.

Series History
Wesleyan is looking for their first win over the Battlers. Alderson Broaddus has taken each match up since the Founders Cup was started in 2015. Their largest victory came last season, a 51-7 win in Philippi.
Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers (0-10 overall, 0-6 G-MAC)
The Panthers are coming off a 10-point loss in their final non-conference game last week. Wesleyan has lost five games by 10 points or less this season.
Wiley Cain eclipsed 2,000-yards on the season after last week and now sits at 2,138 on the year along with a completion percentage of 56.3. Cain's top target continues to be
De'Ondre Boggs who now has 37 catches on the year, averaging 11.8-yards per game. Boggs in the lone Panthers above 400-yards while
David Florence and
Peyton Peters both have over 350-yards. The run game is led by
Corey Johnson Jr. who has 353-yards for six touchdowns.
Jalen Humphrey anchors the defense with 57.0 tackles including a team-high 6.5 tackles for loss.
Dalan Cofer paces the team with 3.5 sacks while
Ramond Jackson has recorded nine pass break ups on the year.
Alderson Broaddus Battlers (1-8 overall, 1-5 G-MAC)
The Battlers picked up their first win of the season last week, a 24-17 victory against Walsh. Prior to last week's win, Alderson Broaddus had lost by an average of 34.3 points per game.
Quarterback Joe Czelusniak has converted nearly 52% of his passes this year, reaching 1,900-yards with 10 touchdown passes. Dominic Pegley leads the receivers with 626-yards and five touchdowns on the year. The junior ranks second in the G-MAC with 69.6-yards per game. The Battlers' run game is led by Nicolas Bishop who sits at 479-yards on the year. Jalen Jackson and Jaques Buchannon are the only other Battlers with over 200-yards.
Defensive back Matt Jackson paces the team with 72 tackles, ranking fifth in the league. Zeke Hand has a team-high 3 sacks while Jason Swann has recorded six pass break ups on the year.
Placekicker Austin Hampton was named the G-MAC Special Teams Player of the Week last week after picking up their first conference win of the season. Hampton converted all three extra point attempts and converted a season-long 38-yard field goal.
