OWENSBORO, Ky. – Kentucky Wesleyan Football (0-1, 0-0) returns to Steele Stadium tomorrow, September 12^th for its 2026 home opener against William Jewel (0-0, 0-0) at 6 p.m. CT. The Panthers enter the contest 0-1 after opening the season with a road loss to NAIA Kentucky Christian 24-44 on August 27th. Kentucky Wesleyan will look to build on the positives from that performance on home turf.

Saturday marks the beginning of a three-game home stand for the Panthers, who will host nationally ranked Findlay and Tiffin to begin Great Midwest Athletic Conference play.

The Panthers and Cardinals will meet for the ninth time in series history, with the Cardinals holding a 6-2 advantage over Kentucky Wesleyan. The last time the two sides met in Liberty, Missouri, William Jewell won 48-21. The Panthers have one win at home over the Cardinals from September 2021 with a final score of 41-21.
