Five Panthers Earn 2026 Kentucky Collegiate All-Commonwealth Team Honors

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Five Kentucky Wesleyan football Panthers were named to the Kentucky Collegiate All-Commonwealth Team, as announced by the Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame on Thursday.

Mason Bell, Camron Brogan, Gage Eldridge, Andrew Hobbs, and Josh Noble earned 2026 All-Commonwealth Team honors.

The Collegiate All-Commonwealth Team is a preseason honor recognizing football players from Kentucky colleges and universities. The award promotes college football across the commonwealth and recognizes student-athletes whose leadership on the field and in the classroom reflects their potential as future leaders beyond the game. Head coaches nominated players based on those qualities.

"I'm extremely excited to recognize these five young men! They embody everything about our program and what it stands for!" head coach Tyrone Young said. "They've committed to the process on what it takes to bring light to the Purple & White! Couldn't be prouder to see them get this preseason honor as the hard work has already started in preparation for our upcoming season! Go Panthers!"

A ceremony honoring the 2026 Collegiate All-Commonwealth Team is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Friday, June 26, at the Pam Miller Downtown Arts Center, 141 E. Main St., Lexington, KY. Each player will receive a Collegiate All-Commonwealth Team championship ring during the ceremony.

The players also will be recognized during the Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame's Purple Jacket Dinner and Induction Ceremony at 6 p.m. the same day at the Hilton downtown.

"We're excited to honor these outstanding young men from the 17 Kentucky colleges and universities that play football," said Frank Minnifield, executive director of the Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame. "They lead their teams on the field and in the classroom, and they are future leaders in communities across Kentucky and beyond."

The 2026 Kentucky Wesleyan football season is set to begin on Thursday, August 27th, on the road against Kentucky Christian at 5:00 PM.
