OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Kentucky Wesleyan women's soccer program and head coach Ty Stauffer have released their full schedule for the upcoming 2026 campaign.
The Panthers will open the year with three consecutive non-conference road matchups, including their season opener on August 29th versus West Alabama and an in-state battle versus Centre on September 1st.
Wesleyan's home opener will take place on September 3rd versus Trevecca Nazarene before the Panthers jump into conference play. KWC will begin G-MAC action with two matches at home against Lake Erie on September 10th and Findlay on September 12th.
The Panthers' home slate will also include matches versus Malone (9/24), Ohio Dominican (9/26), Tiffin (10/8), Walsh (10/10), and a battle versus rival Thomas More in the season finale (10/27).
With many of their top student-athletes in minutes played returning from last season, such as Mariah Winge, Haylie Panter, Emma Fields, Abby Payne, and Haley Osborne, who all played over 1000 minutes in 2025, Stauffer and his staff are looking to lean on that experience in the fall.
"We hope we gain the same type of growth this fall as we saw from last fall to the spring," Stauffer said. "We definitely saw a big improvement in the game maturity this spring season. Hopefully, game experience allows to sustain physical and mental concentration for the full 90 minutes."
Wesleyan's non-conference slate will certainly be a challenge, which Stauffer believes will set them up strongly for the Great Midwest schedule.
"Three of our four non-conference opponents participated in their respective conference tournaments," Stauffer continued. "All four have competitive cultures and winning traditions. We need to face teams with that type of mentality to prepare us for the rigors for the G-MAC."
