HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Kentucky Wesleyan women's soccer (0-2-0, 0-0-0) fell 0-4 to The University of Alabama in Huntsville (1-1-0, 0-0-0) at Charger Park on Sunday afternoon. The Panthers were outshot by the Chargers 16-10 with a 10-5 shot-on-goal advantage going the way of the hosts. Kentucky Wesleyan led in saves with six and corner kicks with four but had no answer for the rampant Chargers.
UAH opened the scoring in the 23rd minute when Cara Tortelli found the back of the net.
Abby Payne kept the Panthers within a goal for the next several minutes, making saves on shots from RK Naman and Tortelli. The Chargers eventually broke through again in the 35th minute when Erin Turley scored, then added a third goal from Michella Tortelli with less than two minutes remaining in the half to take a 3-0 advantage into halftime.
UAH extended its lead in the 54th minute when Addison Knauss scored to make it 4-0. Kentucky Wesleyan continued to look for opportunities throughout the second half, with

Marley Collins each putting shots on goal but couldn't find the breakthrough.
