Kentucky Wesleyan Men's Soccer Unveils 2026 Season Schedule

OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Kentucky Wesleyan men's soccer program and head coach John Fusco have released their 2026 season schedule.

The Panthers will look to build off their historic success from the past two seasons. Wesleyan made the G-MAC Championship game in 2024 for the first time in program history before repeating that accomplishment in 2025. KWC has won 10 matches in each of the last two seasons and 8+ matches in each of the last four seasons.

"The last two seasons have been fantastic for our program, obviously making the conference final two seasons in a row is a great achievement. That being said, there is only one step to our goal of winning the conference," Fusco said. "Our players that have been with us for 2-3 years know the expectations and hard work it's going to take; they have all tasted it and want more without me adding to their motivation. Everyone in this recruiting class has been told to same thing and they are ready for hard work and dedication to reach our goal of being at the top of the conference."

Wesleyan will begin the 2026 campaign with three exhibitions. The Panthers will battle Georgetown at home on August 15th before heading on the road for back-to-back exhibitions versus Brescia and Asbury.

KWC will officially open the regular season away from Owensboro against regional foe Missouri – St. Louis on August 27th before coming home for their Panther Field opener against Missouri S&T on September 1st. Wesleyan will close out non-conference play versus Union in Tennessee on September 4th.

Four of the Panthers first five G-MAC matches will be played at home with battles versus Lake Erie, Findlay, Malone, and Ohio Dominican. KWC will face off against rival Thomas More on the road right in the middle of that stretch.

Wesleyan will then play six of their next eight matches on the road. The Panthers will head to Ohio to battle Malone and Cedarville before returning home for matches against Tiffin and Walsh. KWC will then hit the road for four straight against Northwood, Findlay, Ashland, and Ohio Dominican.

The Panthers will close out the regular season against rival Thomas More at home on October 27th.

"The G-MAC schedule alone is enough to prepare a team for postseason play. I feel our conference is highly competitive from top to bottom and one of the best in DII," Fusco continued. "We are playing Top 25 teams in our conference and getting points off them. It's a great test for every match we play both at home and on the road."
