OWENSBORO, Ky. – Haakon Torvbraaten and Jhaeem Bryan were named to the 2025 D2CAA All-Midwest Region Men's Soccer Team for their terrific play this season.
Torvbraaten, an Asker, Norway, native, earned first team honors. The midfielder also earned G-MAC All-Conference honors and G-MAC All-Tournament honors in November, playing a premier role in the Panthers run to the G-MAC Championship game.
In total this season, Wesleyan's lead captain tallied five goals and nine assists for a combined 19 points in over 1800 minutes. He also set the program record for matches played (79) and started (74).
Byran, a Manchester, Jamaica, native, earned second team honors. The defender likewise earned G-MAC All-Conference honors and G-MAC All-Tournament honors in November, headlining a strong defense for the Panthers all year.
Bryan was second on the team in minutes and totaled three goals and three assists for nine points on the year.
