Owensboro, Ky. – Jhaeem Bryan has been named the G-MAC Men's Soccer Athlete of the Week.
Bryan led the way for a Panthers defense that allowed just one goal and three total shots on goal across two G-MAC victories against Thomas More and Ashland.
The Manchester, Jamaica, native has played all 90 minutes in every match this season besides one, in which he played 89 of the possible 90 minutes.
Although his impact doesn't often show up in the box score, the junior has been the defensive leader for a team that has allowed just ten goals in eight games and no more than two goals in a single game.
Bryan also registered an assist earlier in the season in the Panthers' 2-2 tie versus Missouri S&T.
The Kentucky Wesleyan men's soccer team is back on the pitch this Thursday, October 2, on the road against Malone. Kickoff is set for 6:30 PM and the match will be streamed live on FloCollege.
