OWENSBORO, KY. – The Kentucky Wesleyan College volleyball team has released its schedule for the 2024 season, on Monday afternoon. The Panthers will play 11 home contest this season and will again host one of the premier volleyball events in the Midwest Region. 
 
The Panthers will play 25 matches on the road this season including neutral site games at the Indianapolis Invitational and The Crossover in Hammond, Indiana. After a few scrimmages, Wesleyan will open the season on September 6^th against Maryville University in Indianapolis. The Panthers will play two matches that day, the second being Daemen University. 
 
On day two of the Indianapolis Invitational the Panthers will play Grand Valley and the host Greyhounds. The first home matches of the season will be on September 13^th at the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational. The Panthers will host Christian Brothers and Illinois-Springfield. The Invitational will feature teams from across the region and have games contested on campus and at the Sportscenter. 
 
Wesleyan will be on the road to open Great Midwest action on September 17^th. The Panthers will travel to Crestview Heights to take on Thomas More University. After their match-up with the Saints, the Panthers will be at home three days later to host the opening weekend in G-MAC play. Walsh and Malone are set to visit Jones Gym on September 20^th and 21^st respectively. 
 
Per tradition, the Panthers will make the mid-season trip North to play in The Crossover. As has been the case in recent years The Crossover will be held at the Hammond Sportsplex. This year's event will take place on October 18^th-19^th. 
 
The final matches of the season will be at home. The Panthers will host Tiffin and Findlay on November 15^thand 16^th to conclude the regular season. 
 
The Panthers were 7-23 overall last season with a 4-2 mark in five set matches. In G-MAC play Wesleyan finished 5-14. The Great Midwest Coaches Preseason Poll will be released on Tuesday afternoon.
