OWENSBORO, KY - With everyone coming back from last year's squad, along with a bevy of newcomers, head coach
John Fusco and the Kentucky Wesleyan Men's Soccer program are looking for a big season this fall.
Key returners for the Panthers include leading scorer
Calum Newson (London, England), as well as the second leading scorer and key to the defense
Adrian Stokke (Tofte, Norway). Always steady in the midfield,
Jake Peveler (Owensboro, Ky.) returns for his final season in a Panther uniform, while play maker
Santiago Henrich (Berlin, Germany) will have a full season to give the Panthers another scoring threat. Fourth on the team in points last season, swiss army knife
Max Wawrin (Henderson, Ky.) is the heart and soul of the team, going anywhere he is needed and bringing the energy anytime he plays.
Brendan Wright and
Preston Wright (Paducah, Ky.) have the experience on the backline that is needed for any team to succeed in the G-MAC.
