This Week in Panther Athletics: April 12-18

THIS WEEK

TENNIS
Wesleyan kicks off their week on Tuesday at Cedarville, Ohio to take on conference opponent Cedarville. Wednesday Tennis is home against cross town Brescia at 3 pm CT. Saturday the Panthers take on Tiffin and Findlay at Tiffin and Findlay. Set times for these matches start at 9 am CT and 2 pm CT. Both men and women 0-2 in conference looking to add a few wins to the standings before conference tournament begins next weekend.

TRACK AND FIELD
Panthers travel to Danville, KY April 9th for the Centre Twilight Invitational. This stems from a 2nd place finish for the Men in the Kentucky Wesleyan Twilight invitational and a 3rd place finish for the Women. Showing that the Panthers have what it takes to be competitive in the conference meets.

SOFTBALL
Softball begins their week at Frankfort, KY for a double header against Kentucky State. Kentucky State comes to Owensboro Saturday for a double header at Foster Field. Sunday the Panthers take on Hillsdale at Foster Field. All double headers are set for start time at 12 pm CT. Softball 3-7 in conference can add 2 big wins to the standing this weekend against Hillsdale.

SOCCER
Soccer takes on Ohio Valley this Saturday starting with the Women at 11 am CT and the Men to follow. The men 3-2-2 in conference competing at a high level moving the ball and spreading the field. The Women now 2-3-1 in conference can add another win to the column against Ohio Valley this weekend.

FOOTBALL
Wesleyan plays at Steele Stadium this Saturday against Walsh. The Panthers 0-3 taking the necessary steps needed to prepare this weekend for Walsh.

BASEBALL
Baseball opens with University of Southern Indiana Wednesday starting a 2 pm CT. Wesleyan host Hillsdale this Saturday and Sunday with double headers on both days. Game times are set for 12 pm CT start both days. The Panthers now 12-0 in conference needing to continue the dominion and focus to remain at the header of the table.

GOLF
Friday and Saturday start conference for the Women's Golf team in Lexington, Kentucky. This is the coming after a good week for the Panthers at the USML Spring invitational at Norwood Hills Country Club.
