INDIANAPOLIS, IN -
Madisyn Hunt can add another honor to her impressive resume, as she has been named the G-MAC Offensive Player of the Year for the second time in her career. Joining Hunt on the All-Conference team was sophomore standout
Chloe Hinchcliffe, who was named 2nd Team All-G-MAC.
Madisyn Hunt, who is the most accomplished player in KWC Women's Soccer history and arguably the greatest G-MAC Women's Soccer player of all time, led the conference in both goals (13) and points (29) this season. Nationally, the Jasper, Indiana native was 15th in total goals 23rd in total points. Hunt finished her Kentucky Wesleyan career holding school records in goals (59), points (135), shots (367), game winning goals (11), and ranks 3rd all time in games played (74) and assists (17). Hunt's 59 goals is tied for a G-MAC record, and her 135 career points is 3rd all time.
Only a sophomore,
Chloe Hinchcliffe has already made a name for herself in the G-MAC. The Owensboro native was 3rd in the G-MAC in goals (9) and tied for 5th in assists (4). Her 22 points put her in a tie for 2nd in the conference, only behind Hunt's 29. Hinchcliffe tallied three multi-goal games this season and led the team with two game winning goals. In just two years of collegiate soccer (with her freshman campaign being an abbreviated COVID-19 season), Hinchcliffe ranks just outside of the KWC top 10 in goals (12) and points (30),categories she will surely move up in throughout her next few years at Kentucky Wesleyan.
