Series History
This will mark the third ever meeting between the two teams and the first since 1999.  Each team picked up a home victory during a home-and-home series in the 1998 and 1999 season.

Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers (0-9 overall, 0-6 G-MAC)
The Panthers are coming off their biggest heartbreak loss of the season in North Canton last week.  After losing a first half lead, then regaining it in the fourth quarter, the Cavaliers found the end zone with 13 seconds remaining to steal the 27-24 win.  The loss marked the fourth one-possession loss this season for Wesleyan.

Wesleyan posted a season-best 362-yards in the air last week, marking the second time this year they eclipsed 300-yards.  Quarterback Wiley Cain now has 1,864-yards on the year, completing over 55% of his passes.  De'Ondre Boggs continues to be the top receiver for the Panthers, racking up 435-yards and ranking 11th in the conference at 48.3-yards per game.  Sophomore Peyton Peters has a chance to reach 300-yards this week, currently sitting at 296-yards on the year after a season-best five catches last week. Corey Johnson Jr. tabbed his 100th carry of the season last week, leading Wesleyan with 340-yards and sitting ninth in the G-MAC.

The Panther defense has forced 17 turnovers on the year including one interception last week.  Moe Carter paces the team with a trio of picks while Jalen Wilson and Armand Childs both have two.  Ramond Jackson has a team-high seven pass break ups on the year.

Jalen Humphrey leads the defense with 51.5 tackles on the year, including five for loss.  Jalen Wilson and Ramond Jackson are right behind at 46.5 and 43.0 respectively.

Frostburg Bobcats (7-2 overall, 7-2 MEC)
This is the first and only non-conference game for the Bobcats after making the transition to Division II prior to this season.  Frostburg has made some noise in the Mountain East Conference, sitting in second place with a record of 7-2.  After dropping their first game of the season by a field goal, Frostburg went on to win seven straight games before falling to nationally-ranked No. 6 Notre Dame last weekend.

Quarterback Will Brunson has completed 54.5% of his passes on the year, racking up 1,737-yards and 16 touchdowns.  The Bobcats have two receivers over 400-yards with Lincoln Ikwubuo at 541 and Terrell Brown at 438.  Despite averaging over 60-yards per game, neither are in the Top 15 in the conference.  The run game is led by Gavin Lavat who sits second in the Mountain East with 911-yards on the season and 8 touchdowns.  Lavat recorded three touchdowns against Charleston in week seven, but hasn't found the end zone the last two weeks.

The Bobcast defense nearly gave up a season-high of total offense last week, allowing Notre Dame to accumulate 472-yards.  It was the first time is five games that they allowed over 100-yards rushing.  Frostburg does have the top-ranked defense in the conference, holding opponents to 19.4 points per game, but their top linebacker isn't in the Top 10 in total tackles.  Wayne Palmer leads the team with 64 tackles on the year, sitting 14th in the conference.  Carl Igweh paces the team with 8.5 sacks while Michael Bell leads the way with four interceptions.
