Owensboro, Ky. – The Kentucky Wesleyan men's golf team completed play at the Ken Partridge Invitational from April 6-8, finishing 17th among the 20-team field.
The Panthers turned in a score of 900 (+36), shooting 289-306-305 over the three rounds.
The highlight of the week was the first round for Wesleyan, in which the team shot just one-over par and found themselves in seventh after day one.
Thomas Scott had one of his best tournaments of the season, finishing T-14th with a score of 217 (+1, 69-73-75) to lead the way for the Panthers.
Evan Beery and Jonah Graham slotted in at T-61st, both tallying a 226 (+10), with the former recording scores of 70-79-77 and the latter logging scores of 73-78-75 across the three days.
Braydon Bond came in 91st with a card of 231 (+15, 77-76-78) and Parker Conover finished in 111th with a score of 247 (+31, 77-86-84).
No. 18-ranked Missouri S&T won the event by seven strokes, shooting five-under overall.
UIndy's Cameron Young, ranked No. 115, took home individual honors by two strokes with a score of 208 (-8), shooting under-par in every round.
The Kentucky Wesleyan men's golf team next heads to the Great Midwest Championship from April 21-22 in Florence, Indiana.
