Florence, Ind. – The Kentucky Wesleyan men's golf team closed out their 2025 campaign with a strong performance in the 2025 Great Midwest Men's Golf Championship.
The Panthers finished 6th among the 11 teams in competition with a score of 922 (+70, 311-312-299). The third and final round was some of their best collective golf of the year and propelled Wesleyan up the standings.
Senior Jonah Graham, in the final golf event of his career, finished 9th among 55 student-athletes at the championship. Graham shot a 223 (+10, 73-77-73), using a sharp final round to sneak into the top 10.
Evan Beery, also a senior playing in his final event, posted a 228 (+15, 75-79-74) to come in not far behind Graham at T-15th.
"Jonah and Beery have given a lot to the program, as have all our seniors," head coach Ken Badylak said. "They have been a big part in all the success we have experienced the past few years. We got knocked around in those early years, but these guys have posted nearly all the lowest rounds in school history. All I can say is I am proud of them. They allowed themselves to be coachable and developed into strong players."
Jonathan Kaminiski and Thomas Scott were next on the leaderboard, both finishing T-37th with a score of 239 (+26). The former shot 84-80-75 across the three rounds, while the latter posted tallies of 85-77-77.
Braydon Bond rounded out the Panthers effort, coming in 43rd with a 245 (+32, 79-79-87).
Colin Schadek took home individual honors, shooting a 213 (E) to win by one stroke. Schadek's Findlay squad is set to take on Ohio Dominican for the team title tomorrow.
Although Kentucky Wesleyan men's golf's season has come to a close, Kentucky Wesleyan women's golf is beginning their postseason on Thursday, April 26, also at Belterra Golf Resort.
