Owensboro, Ky. – Sydnee Richetto has been named to the 2nd Team All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference as announced by the league office Thursday afternoon.
The senior guard averaged a team-high 12.8 points on 56% shooting and added 2.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game while leading the Panthers to an appearance in the G-MAC Championship tournament.
Richetto had nine games of 15+ points and four games of 20+ points this season. Her highlight stretch came when she dropped 23 points on 10-16 shooting and 3-5 from beyond the arc at Malone before pouring in a season-high 25 points on 11-14 from the field just three days later vs. St. Mary-of-the-Woods.
To close out her career, Richetto impressed on the big stage with a team-high 18 points at Malone in the quarterfinals of the G-MAC Tournament.
After transferring in from Division-I Wofford, Richetto made a huge impact on the women's basketball program over her two seasons with the team, playing in 54 total games and starting 35 with a career average of 11.0 points per game.
