Wesleyan Slots in at 14th at Findlay Spring Invitational

Richmond, Ky. – The Kentucky Wesleyan men's golf team finished 14th among the 18-team field at the Findlay Spring Invitational from March 24-25.

The Panthers shot 297-304-294 across the three rebounds for a total of 895 (+31).

Senior Jonah Graham led the way for Wesleyan, slotting in at T-15th in the 100-player field at -1 (215, 72-74-69), including an impressive final round of -3. 

Sophomore Thomas Scott came in next for the Panthers, finishing T-54th at +8 (224, 72-76-76), and freshman Jonathan Kaminski wasn't far behind him with a score of +10 (226, 77-77-72) to finish T-64th.

Rounding out the Wesleyan effort was freshman Braydon Bond, coming in T-77th with a final tally of +14 (230, 76-77-77), and senior Evan Schumacher, who slotted in at T-98th while carding +24 (240, 83-79-78).

"These were some of our best team scores this year. I am encouraged and proud of the guys," head coach Ken Badylak said. "We have a good two weeks coming up and hopefully we can use this as a springboard."

Missouri S&T took home the team crown with a score of -20. Missouri S&T's Connor Benjamin, the #84 ranked men's golfer, won by 10 strokes with a score of -18.

The Panthers return to the course next for the Music City Invitational in Nashville, hosted by Trevecca Nazarene beginning on March 31.
