OWENSBORO, Ky. – Below is your preview of Wesleyan Athletics for the week of December 1-7.
Women's Basketball
The Kentucky Wesleyan women's basketball team is set to begin conference play with road contests versus Ohio Dominican on Thursday and Findlay on Saturday.
The Panthers are coming off a 95-61 victory over Midway in which senior
Myah Montgomery poured in a season-high 21 points.
Men's Basketball
The Kentucky Wesleyan men's basketball team is also set to begin conference play with their own road contests versus Ohio Dominican on Thursday and Findlay on Saturday.
Wesleyan went 1-1 last week, defeating Simmons 78-61 on Monday before falling 72-61 to RV Missouri – St. Louis on Wednesday.
Armandas Plintauskas tallied 21 points and hit six of seven threes against the Tritons.
Wrestling
The Kentucky Wesleyan wrestling team heads to Painesville, Ohio, for a tri meet against conference foes Lake Erie and Ashland.
In their most recent event, the Panthers fell 36-6 to Davenport, the G-MAC's newest associate member this season.
