Men's Basketball
The Kentucky Wesleyan men's basketball team kicks off the week on Wednesday, December 17, in a matchup versus GLVC foe Illinois Springfield at 6:00 PM. Wesleyan then takes Thursday off before their annual field trip game against IU Southeast at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 19, in which several area schools will be in attendance to cheer on the Panthers.

Wesleyan is coming off a 2-0 bounce back week, defeating Ashland 72-65 last Thursday and downing Tiffin 75-65 last Saturday. Armandas Plintauskas averaged 15.0 points and 6.0 rebounds across those two victories.
Women's Basketball
The Kentucky Wesleyan women's basketball team has just one game this week: a battle versus regional opponent Oakland City at 5:30 PM on Thursday, December 18.
These Panthers are coming off their own 2-0 week. First, Wesleyan conquered Ashland 84-72 last Thursday, the first ever program victory over the powerhouse Eagles. The Panthers followed with a 77-65 triumph over Tiffin last Saturday.
Riley Neal was the star of the week. The Prospect, Kentucky, native scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds versus Ashland before topping that performance with a career-high 25 points while shooting 9-9 from the free throw line against the Dragons.
