LACONIA, IN -
Maddie Zimmerman is finishing her year on a roll, as she set a new 54-hole score PR with a 246 (+30). This included a second round score of 79, the team low in the tournament.
For the tournament, the Panthers shot rounds of 335-335-349 to finish with a 1019 (+155). Reigning G-MAC champions and 2022 NCAA champs Findlay took home the team title with an 871 (+7), while the Oilers' Gabby Woods won medalist honors with a 208 (-8).
Finishing second on the team was sophomore
Audrey Koetter, who scored rounds of 83-84-87 to finish with a 254 (+38). Not far behind her was
Samantha DeSpain, who came through with a 256 (+40). Closing out the scoring for the Panthers were
Megan Bryan (264, +48), and
Avery Shacklette (266, +50).
Zimmerman was the second best individual in the tournament when it came to par-3's, as she finished with an average of 3.17.
Wesleyan will be back in action on Sunday-Monday, April 14-15, at the UMSL Spring Invitational, hosted by the Norwood Hills Country Club.
