BIG RAPIDS, MI - The Kentucky Wesleyan women's golf team competed in their second event in as many weeks on Saturday, taking 15th at the Lady Bulldogs Fall Invite, hosted by Ferris State.
The Panthers finished with a two-round score of 719 (+143).
Freshman
Audrey Koetter put together two solid rounds, coming through with scores of 88 (+16) and 85 (+13) to lead the Panthers with a 173 (+29).
Megan Bryan came through with a 177 (+33) to tie for 68th.
Samantha DeSpain finished at 74th with a 182 (+38) while
Maddie Zimmerman came in a tie for 80th with a 187 (+43).
Avery Shacklette closed out the scoring with a 193 (+49).
Saginaw Valley State took the win with a two-round score of 612 (+36), while Wayne State's Sabel Imesch shot a 146 (+2) to take medalist honors.
Wesleyan will be right back at it tomorrow and Monday when they head to Allendale, Michigan, for the GVSU Lady Laker Invitational.
