Wesleyan Announces Leadership Change Within Tennis Programs

OWENSBORO, KY. –Kentucky Wesleyan's Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Mark Shook announced a change in leadership with the men's and women's Tennis programs on Tuesday. A national search has begun to find the next head coach of the KWC Tennis Programs.

The women's tennis team has been a constant at KWC since it's inception in 1974. "The women's tennis program has been a mainstay at Kentucky Wesleyan for the better part of 50 years and we need to continue to move forward into the next chapter of this program's storied history," said Shook. "Our men's tennis program has a core of really good players and I look forward to what they will do in this next chapter as well." The men's tennis program was reinstated in 2018-19 after a 19-year hiatus.
