ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Kentucky Wesleyan women's tennis team earned a 7-0 shutout win over Webster for their first victory of 2026.
Wesleyan began the match by dominating the doubles point. Anna Bongardt and Angela Ho combined for a 6-0 triumph on Court 2 before Kameron Knight and Ella Brown finalized a 6-1 win on Court 1.
In singles play, Baylie McCreary and Sara Osorio each had wins via walkover to put the Panthers up 3-0. Then, Bongardt and Brown each tallied impressive 6-0, 6-0 victories on Courts 2 and 4, respectively, to clinch the team triumph.
To close out the match, Ho prevailed 6-1, 6-1 on Court 3 and Knight finished off a hard-fought 7-6, 6-2 win on Court 1.
The Panthers will look to ride their momentum into a battle versus Principia tomorrow, Friday, March 6th, at 5:00 PM in St. Louis, Missouri.
