LEXINGTON, KY - Facing extremely cold and windy conditions, the Kentucky Wesleyan Women's Golf Team concluded their season at the G-MAC Championships in Lexington, Ky. this past weekend, coming in 8th with a team score of 1,147 (+283).
Maddie Zimmerman led the Panthers by finishing 34th with a score of 267 (+51), including a team low 85 in her second round.
Megan Bryan finished in 36th with a 275 (+59) while
Erin Sexsmith came in just behind her with a 277 (+61).
Samantha DeSpain rounded out the scoring with a total of 328 (+112) to take 42nd.Â
#9 Findlay won the tournament with a team score of 901 (+37). The Oiler's Kristina Kniesly took medalist honors with a 220 (+4).
The Panthers will lose just one senior off of this year's team, as
Erin Sexsmith, originally a transfer from Alderson Broaddus, will be graduating after three dedicated years to the program.
