ST. LOUIS, MO - As has become a trend this semester, the Kentucky Wesleyan Women's Golf team battled the rough conditions this past weekend as they took part in the Triton Invitational hosted by the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Playing on the Par-71 Norwood Hills Country Club,
Megan Bryan played really well throughout the weekend, shooting scores of 82-90-81 to finish in a tie for 37th at +40 for the tournament. Junior
Maddie Zimmerman came in 64th with a three-round score of 263 (+50), including a tournament low 85 in her final round.
Samantha DeSpain tied for 78th with a 276 (+63) while
Erin Sexsmith came in just behind her in 80th with a 278 (+65).
Kentucky Wesleyan closes out their season next week when they head to Lexington, Ky. for the G-MAC Championships. The tournament will take place on Monday, April 19th-Tuesday, April 20th and will be played at the Big Blue Golf Club in Lexington.
