LOCKPORT, Ill. – The Kentucky Wesleyan College women's bowling team was in action for the fourth straight weekend this past weekend, traveling to the Flyer Classic hosted Lewis University in Lockport, Ill.  The Panthers placed 10th in the three-day tournament while Meagher earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team.

Wesleyan went 6-7 on the weekend with wins over nationally-ranked Maryville, Lewis and Valparaiso (twice).  The Panthers also took down Quincy and Dominican.

The Panthers were slotted seventh in Sunday's Championship bracket but losses to Quincy, Upper Iowa and Dominican pushed Wesleyan down to tenth.

Meagher notched a fourth place finish with a single-game high of 254 pins.  The sophomore averaged 202.80 to be named to the All-Tournament, the first All-Tournament selection for the Panthers this season.

Samantha Bugno narrowly missed the All-Tournament team as well, averaging an even 200.00 and placing seventh.  Whitney Goodman snuck in the Top 25 with an average of 186.80.

The Panthers head to Indianapolis, Ind. this weekend for the Hoosier Classic on Saturday and Sunday.
