TIFFIN, OH - Competing in just their second tournament of the year, the KWC Men's Golf Team took 14th at the Kyle Ryman Memorial, finishing with a team score of 905 (+41).
Sophomore
Tyler Nickol was extremely consistent over the course of three rounds, shooting scores of 74, 74, and 73 to finish T36 with a score of 221 (+5). Freshman
Camden Robertson was extremely impressive in his second ever tournament, coming in tied for 41st with scores of 75, 74, and 73. His three round total of 222 (+6) was 11 strokes better than his opening tournament at Malone.
Evan Beery shot three straight under-80 (76-77-78) to finish tied for 69th with a score of 231 (+15).
Competing in his first career tournament,
Andreas Olsen (80-77-78) tied for 76th with a 235 (+19). Fellow freshman
Jonah Graham (76-81-82) rounded out the scoring for the Panthers with a 239 (+23), putting him in a tie for 86th.
Taking part as an individual,
Evan Schumacher (88-80-91) finished in 92nd place with a score of 259 (+41).
Wesleyan will be back in action next week when they head to St. Louis for the Midwest-Regional. The two-day tournament starts on Monday, Oct. 11 and will be played at the Fox Run Golf Course in Eureka, Mo.
