EUREKA, MO - After a long opening day that saw multiple delays due to weather, the KWC Men's Golf team closed out the Midwest Regional at Fox Run strong, posting lower scores in every round (329-320-316) to finish with a team score of 965 (+101).
Just like in their previous two tournaments, sophomore
Tyler Nickol led the team. He was very consistent over the 54-hole tournament, posting scores of 79-79-76 to finish 43rd with a 234 (+18).
Camden Robertson showed why he is quickly becoming one of Head Coach
Ken Badylak's best golfers, using rounds of 78-80-79 to come in just three strokes behind Nickol and tie for 51st with a 237 (+21).
After not qualifying for the first tournament of the season, freshman
Andreas Olsen has come alive in his past two tournaments. Olsen lowered his scores significantly each round (87-82-78) to finish third on the team and tied for 78th overall with a 247 (+31). Freshman
Jonah Graham (88-79-83) finished tied for 84th with a 250 (+34) while fellow freshman
Blake Kelly (85-86-86) tied for 93rd with a 257 (+41).
