OWENSBORO, Ky. – Karsen Steele has been named the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Kentucky Wesleyan College.
Steele, who is also entering his fourth year as the general manager for Kentucky Wesleyan Football, will lead the strength and conditioning efforts for Panther Athletics as a whole.
"I am honored and excited to begin my role as the new Strength and Conditioning Coach for KWC Athletics," Steele said. "I would like to thank [Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics] Jason Vittone for trusting me with this role and Coach Tyrone Young for helping me get to the position I am in today, as well as my wife, Sydney Steele, for being by my side and supporting me every step of the way. I am excited to give back to the athletes and the programs that have allowed me to become the person I am today."
A native of Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, Steele will additionally be entering his third year as a special ed teacher and the athletic director at College View Middle School. He graduated from Kentucky Wesleyan in 2024 with a degree in Special Education and Middle Grades History.
"I couldn't be happier to enhance Karsen's role in our department," Vittone said "I am particularly grateful for the college's commitment to elevating all our sports with the addition of a strength and conditioning coach. This is an area of need for our department, and I'm excited we were able to get this accomplished."
