OWENSBORO, Ky. – Below is your preview of Wesleyan Athletics for the week of March 9-15.

Softball
The Kentucky Wesleyan softball team is set to battle city rival Brescia on Tuesday, March 10th, at Jack C. Fisher Park. The two teams will begin their doubleheader at 5:00 PM. Live stats will be available on kwcpanthers.com.

Chloe Apple has led the way for the Panthers thus far this season. The senior is batting .371 with four doubles, seven RBIs, eight walks, and an on-base percentage above .500 through 15 games.

Baseball
The Kentucky Wesleyan baseball team begins G-MAC play versus Northwood this weekend. The Panthers will play a doubleheader on each of Saturday and Sunday at 12:00 PM at Panther Park. All games will be streamed live on FloCollege.

Wesleyan is 10-8 through non-conference play but is coming off dropping three of four against Fairmont State. The Panthers managed to salvage the series finale with their 12-5 victory over the Falcons, largely thanks to Liam Hutson's two home runs.

Women's Golf
The Kentucky Wesleyan women's golf team is traveling to Georgetown, Kentucky, for the Saginaw Valley Invitational this weekend.

The women's golf team competed at the Saddlebrook Spring Kickoff in Wesley Chapel, Florida, last weekend. The Panthers finished seventh among the eight-team field as freshman AnnaMae Atcher led the charge with a T-24th individual finish.
