Owensboro, Ky. – Below is your weekly preview of Wesleyan Athletics for the week of November 3-9.
Men's Soccer
The Kentucky Wesleyan men's soccer team is heading to Crestview Hills, Kentucky, for their regular season finale on Tuesday. The Panthers are currently on an 11-match unbeaten streak, a school record, and have clinched a spot in the Great Midwest Championship tournament.
Women's Soccer
The Kentucky Wesleyan women's soccer team is likewise heading to Crestview Hills, for their own regular season finale on Tuesday. Wesleyan came up just short on Saturday, but
Steeley Walker was able to connect with
Haylie Panter for the latter's fourth goal of the season in the match.
Volleyball
The Kentucky Wesleyan volleyball team closes their road slate this season against Findlay on Friday and Tiffin on Saturday. The Panthers will finalize their campaign with two home matches next weekend, including Senior Day on November 8.
Football
The Kentucky Wesleyan football team heads to Painesville, Ohio, for their final road game of the season against Lake Erie.
Justus Wertzler was able to connect with both
Josh Campbell Jr. and
Camron Brogan for touchdowns as the Panthers battled Tiffin tough last weekend.
Wrestling
The Kentucky Wesleyan wrestling team begins G-MAC play against the Findlay Oilers inside Jones Gym on Saturday. The team opened their season at the Glenville State Open last weekend, finishing 11
th as the
Jacob Lorentz era got underway.
Women's Basketball
The Kentucky Wesleyan women's basketball season opens their 2025-26 campaign with an exhibition versus Tennessee Southern inside the Owensboro Sportscenter on Saturday. With many newcomers, Wesleyan will look to start the early-season experimental process strong.
