Owensboro, Ky. – Below is your weekly preview of Wesleyan Athletics for the week of November 10-16.
Men's Soccer
The Kentucky Wesleyan men's soccer team is headed to Tiffin, Ohio, for the G-MAC Semifinals against the Cedarville Yellow Jackets. Wesleyan defeated Lake Erie 2-0 in the quarterfinal round, using goals by
Elias Jonsson and
Cameron Bell to advance.
It's the Panthers second consecutive appearance in the G-MAC Semifinal round. Kickoff is set for 10:00 AM and the match will be streamed live on FloCollege.
Volleyball
The Kentucky Wesleyan volleyball team hosts their final two matches of the 2025 campaign this week inside Jones Gym, first taking on Lake Erie at 6:00 PM on Friday before battling Ursuline at 5:00 PM on Saturday for Senior Day.
Football
The Kentucky Wesleyan football team is set to take on in-state rival Thomas More in their season finale at 12:00 PM on Saturday at Steele Stadium. Both teams are coming in without a win, so one program will leave with their first victory of the season.
Men's Basketball
The
Drew Cooper Radio Show begins tonight at 6:00 PM at the Owensboro Country Club. Team captains
LaVonte Harris,
Armandas Plintauskas, and
Gavin Reed will be joining Cooper on the show. Season tickets will be available for pickup for those who have purchased, and a representative will be on site for those who wish to purchase. If you can't make it in person, the show will be live on 94.7 WBIO.
The Kentucky Wesleyan men's basketball team officially begins their season as hosts of the Midwest Region Crossover. The Panthers will play Indianapolis on Friday at 6:00 PM before taking on Missouri S&T at 2:00 PM on Sunday, both inside the Owensboro Sportscenter.
Women's Basketball
The Kentucky Wesleyan women's basketball team also gets their year underway as hosts of the Midwest Region Crossover. Wesleyan is set to go up against Missouri S&T at 3:30 PM on Friday and Lincoln at 3:30 PM on Saturday. The Panthers prevailed 84-71 over Tennessee Southern in their exhibition battle last weekend.
Wrestling
The Kentucky Wesleyan wrestling team heads to Springfield, Missouri, to compete in the Drury Open hosted by Drury University. The Panthers competed against Findlay last weekend inside Jones Gym and now look to get more non-conference experience.
