This Week in Wesleyan Athletics

Owensboro, Ky. – Below is your weekly preview of Wesleyan Athletics. Men's and women's soccer play their final home games of the regular season, volleyball returns to Jones Gym for two matches, football begins a road trip, and wrestling gets their campaign underway.

Women's Soccer
The Kentucky Wesleyan women's soccer team is set to battle Cedarville on Wednesday and Ohio Dominican on Saturday. The Panthers led for much of their match against Northwood on Saturday after Haylie Panter scored her third goal of the season, but Wesleyan couldn't hang on against the Timberwolves.

Men's Soccer
The Kentucky Wesleyan men's soccer team is currently on a nine-match unbeaten streak and sits third in the G-MAC ahead of a big week. The Panthers will face off against ninth-ranked Cedarville on Wednesday before hosting Ohio Dominican on Saturday, with Senior Night festivities occurring before the match.

Volleyball
The Kentucky Wesleyan volleyball team is back home for two matches, first taking on Ohio Dominican in a Halloween battle on Friday followed by Cedarville on Saturday. Emmy Goering recorded a double-double in both matches last week and will look to continue her fantastic play.

Wrestling
The Jacob Lorentz era gets underway as the Kentucky Wesleyan wrestling team travels to Glenville, West Virginia, for the Glenville Open on Saturday. With a strong mix of returners and newcomers, Wesleyan will look to make an early season splash.

Football
The Kentucky Wesleyan football team heads to Tiffin, Ohio, for a matchup against the Dragons on Saturday. Josh Noble is coming off a strong performance defensively, racking up 15 total tackles against Northwood.
