Women's Golf competes at Kentucky Wesleyan Fall Invite

OWENSBORO, KY - The Kentucky Wesleyan Women's Golf team took on the competition at their own invitational this weekend, taking ninth with a team score of 700 (+124).

Megan Bryan improved by one stroke in her final round (85-84) to lead Wesleyan with a 169 (+25), good for a 24th place finish. Maddie Zimmerman tied for 28th with a 173 (+29) while Samantha DeSpain and Avery Shacklette tied for 37th with both shooting a score of 180 (+36). Freshman Audrey Koetter came through just behind DeSpain and Shacklette with a 181 (+37). Playing as an individual, Makenna O'Bryan finished with a 227 (+83).

Drury took the team title with a 635 (+28) while Trevecca's Jodie Taylor won the individual title with a score of 151 (+7), thanks to rounds of 75-76. 

This closes the fall portion of the Panther's schedule and they will pick things back up in the spring for the championship portion of their season.
