COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Kentucky Wesleyan women's golf team played a shortened weekend of golf in Columbus at the Champions of Women's Golf tournament hosted by Ohio Dominican University. After rain washed out Saturday's round of competition, the Panthers played a single Sunday round and placed 8th. AnnaMae Atcher led the Panthers, finishing tied for 14th out of a field of 59.
 
As a team, the Panthers shot a final score of +55. Atcher closed nine over par while Ansley Adams was just behind, tied for 18th at 11 over par. Maria Coria finished tied for 36th with a score of 15, while Jenna Noort was +20, tied for 50th.
 
The Panthers will take a two-week break before traveling to Lemont, Illinois, October 5-6 for the Flyers Fall Invitational hosted by Lewis University. Play will begin on Monday and conclude on Tuesday.
