OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Kentucky Wesleyan Athletic Department is excited to announce the Panther Athletic Fund - Tailgate Area for the first time in school history.

Anyone who purchases a season tailgating pass will also be entered to win their own skybox (up to 10 people) on opening night vs. Frostburg State.

"We are really looking forward to the upcoming season, and especially when it comes to improving the fan experience with this official tailgating opportunity," said Interim Athletic Director Mark Shook. "The tailgate area will bring a true college football game day experience to Owensboro and in a safe and controlled space. Thanks to the efforts by the coaching staff, players and fans, Kentucky Wesleyan football will be back and better than ever in 2021."

Tailgating policies

• The tailgate will take place in the softball lot and will open at 8:00 a.m. for games that start at 12:00 p.m.
  • For all other games, the lot will open four hours prior to gametime (i.e. lot opens at 2:00 p.m. for a 6:00 p.m. game).
• Lot will close 15 minutes prior to kick-off
• Lot will open back up at the conclusion of the game for two hours. No additional cups or spaces will be sold.
• Consumption of alcohol will be permitted.
  • Must be brought in by tailgate participants
  • Must be kept in official tailgate cups (no glass bottles, kegs, etc.)
• Students of any age are allowed to purchase tailgating spots and must abide by official tailgating policy.
• All participants will be asked to show a valid ID that reflects the person's age upon check-in.
• Participants 21 years of age or older will receive a cup and wristband.
• Participants under the age of 21 will receive a cup.

This is the only tailgate area available as no other tailgating will be permitted.
