OWENSBORO, Ky. - The Kentucky Wesleyan College women's soccer team posted a senior night victory with ease on Monday night, defeating Oakland City University 4-0 in non-conference action at Panther Field.
Wesleyan scored three goals in the first seven minutes of play. The first goal came in the third minute when
Sarah Haleman sent a in a shot from the right side of the box. After the ball went past the goalkeeper,
Madisyn Hunt one touched it in.
Goal number two came in the fourth minute. After a breakaway, Hunt got her own rebound and passed it to
Kamryn Pulliam on the left side of the box who put it away for her fifth goal of the season.
Hunt's second goal of the night came in the seventh minute on a breakaway. Hunt drew the goalkeeper out to the right side of the box and tucked it away for her 22nd goal of the season. Hunt continues to lead the nation in goals (22) and points (51).
Wesleyan's final goal of the night came in the 65th minute. After the Panthers intercepted a goal kick,
Natalie Hinchcliffe scored from the top of the box for her fourth goal of the season.
The Panthers out shot the Mighty Oaks 51-8 on the night. Hunt led the team with 14 shots while Pulliam and Hinchcliffe recorded five.Â

Maddie Kennedy each tallied four.
Taylor Rentchler picked up the win in net, making one save in the first half. Kenzy Melton made three saves in the final 45 minutes.
Wesleyan returns to Great Midwest Athletic Conference action this weekend, traveling to Ohio. The Panthers take on Ohio Dominican on Thursday and Cedarville on Saturday. With three conference games remaining, Wesleyan currently sits in fifth place.
