PHILIPPI, W. Va. - The Kentucky Wesleyan College men's soccer team suffered a 4-0 loss to Alderson Broaddus University on Thursday in their first Great Midwest Athletic Conference match of the season.
The Battlers scored a goal in the 38th minute to take a 1-0 lead to the break. A pair of goals five minutes apart at 53' and 58' put the game out of reach for Wesleyan before the final goal was scored in the 85th minute.
David Flores led the Panthers with two shots on goal while
Austin Moore and
Ben Protheroe tallied one.
Lucas Daunhauer played the full 90 minutes in net, stopping nine shots.
The Panthers close out the road trip in Elkins, W. Va. on Saturday, taking on the Senators of Davis & Elkins College at 4 pm CT.
