Box Score FINDLAY, Ohio - The Kentucky Wesleyan College women's soccer team battled to a 0-0 draw against the University of Findlay in the Panthers first Great Midwest Athletic Conference match of the season.
Goalkeeper
Brittany Johnston posted her first collegiate shut out, stopping at 12 shots faced in 110 minutes of play. The senior held strong in the overtime, making six saves in the first overtime alone.
Wesleyan was held to five shots, with
Breigh Haase leading the way with two, both of which were on goal.Â
Madallyn Peveler,
Erica Zetter and
Skylar Walden each tallied one shot.
The Panthers earned two corner kicks in the second overtime but were unable to capitalize on the opportunities.
Wesleyan remains on the road this week with a pair of G-MAC games. The Panthers head to Alderson Broaddus on Thursday followed by Davis & Elkins College on Saturday.
