PAINESVILLE, Ohio - The Kentucky Wesleyan College women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision at Lake Erie on Saturday in Great Midwest Athletic Conference action.
The Panthers outshot the Storm 10-6 but Lake Erie proved it was quality over quantity as they found the back of the net in the 69th minute.
Madisyn Hunt led the Panthers with three shots on goal while
Breigh Haase and
Natalie Hinchcliffe both tallied two.Â
Madallyn Peveler and
Sidney Pruitt both recorded one shot.
Shelby Stearsman played the full 90 minutes in net, making three saves and allowing one goal.
The Panthers return home this week, hosting Ohio Dominican on Thursday and Cedarville on Saturday.
