PEPPER PIKE, Ohio – The Kentucky Wesleyan College women's soccer team suffered a 4-0 loss on Thursday afternoon to Ursuline College in Great Midwest Athletic Conference play.
The Arrows struck early with their first goal in the 12th minute. A pair of goals in the 22nd and 39th minute gave Ursuline a 3-0 lead at the break.
A mere 21 seconds into the second half, Ursuline tallied their fourth and final goal. Wesleyan tallied eight shots in the final 45 but were unable to find the back of the net.
Ursuline held the advantage in shots, 16-14. Breigh Haase led the Panthers with four shots, three of which were on goal. Sidney Pruitt tallied three while Natalie Hinchcliffe and Madisyn Hunt recorded two.
The Panthers conclude their road trip in Painesville, Ohio on Saturday taking on the Storm of Lake Erie College at 11 am CT.
