VIENNA, W. Va. – The Kentucky Wesleyan College men's soccer team suffered a 3-0 defeat at Ohio Valley University on Saturday afternoon in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference matchup. The Panthers move to 0-8-1 overall and 0-7-1 in the G-MAC while the Fighting Scots improve to 10-1-1 overall and 7-0-1 in conference play.
The first 30 minutes of play were scoreless until the Fighting Scots netted a pair of goals less than two minutes apart to take a 2-0 lead to halftime. Ohio Valley scored the third goal of the game in the 51st minute to take the shutout victory.

Ben Protheroe each recorded one shot.
Grant Allen played all 90 minutes in net, stopping 11 shots and allowing three goals.
Kentucky Wesleyan has two home games during Homecoming week next week. The Panthers will host Lake Erie College at 5:30 pm CT on Thursday followed by Oakland City University at 2 pm CT on Sunday.
