CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Kentucky Wesleyan College men's soccer team suffered a 7-0 loss at Cedarville University on Thursday evening in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference matchup. The Panthers move to 0-7-1 overall and 0-6-1 in conference play while the Yellow Jackets improve to 5-5-0 overall and 4-3-0 in the G-MAC.
Cedarville scored a pair of goals less than four minutes apart to take a 2-0 lead to halftime. Starting at the 50th minute, Cedarville tallied three goals in less than six minutes to take a commanding 5-0 lead. Their final goal was scored in the 86th minute.
Grant Allen stopped seven shots in 58:34 in net.
Jacob Stauffer tallied two saves in the final 31:26 of play.
The Panthers will head to Ohio Valley on Saturday to take on the Fighting Scots at 2:30 pm CT.
