CANTON, Ohio – The Kentucky Wesleyan College women's soccer team saw an offensive explosion on Thursday, defeating Malone University in overtime by a score of 4-3 for their first win in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference this season. Freshman Madisyn Hunt had a stellar day, scoring two goals and two assists while Kamryn Pulliam tallied two goals including the game winning goal.

Midway through the first half, Hunt scored a pair of goals less than four minutes apart to put Kentucky Wesleyan ahead 2-0. The first goal was unassisted after the defense lost the ball, Hunt drilled a shot inside the near post. Four minutes later, Hunt received a pass from Anna Duff, spun around a defender and found the back of the net on the far post to put the Panthers ahead by two goals.
Malone responded with three straight goals, one in the first half and two in the second, to take a 3-2 lead in the 61st minute.
With just over 20 minutes remaining, Kamryn Pulliam pounced on a deflected shot, putting away the rebound to knot the game at three. Hunt picked up an assist on the goal.
