Women's Soccer Unbeaten Streak Snapped at Ohio Dominican

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Kentucky Wesleyan College women's soccer team saw its four game unbeaten streak come to an end on Thursday evening, dropping a 3-0 decision to Ohio Dominican University in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference matchup.
With the loss, Kentucky Wesleyan falls to 5-7-1 overall and 5-6-1 in the G-MAC while Ohio Dominican improves to 11-4-1 overall and 9-2-1 in conference play.

A tightly contested game remained scoreless until Ohio Dominican broke it open with a pair of goals less than two minutes apart.  Ohio Dominican tallied its final goal in the second half coming in the 49th minute.

Madisyn Hunt led the Panthers with five shots while Kaley Burnette tabbed two.  Taylor Rentchler made 12 saves in net, one shy of her season high 13 against both McKendree and Ohio Valley.

The Panthers return to action on Saturday as they head to Findlay, Ohio to take on the Oilers of Findlay University at 11 am CT.
