Kentucky Wesleyan baseball split with Wisconsin-Parkside in Great Lakes Valley Conference play on Sunday afternoon at Panther Park.
In the first contest, the Rangers opened with a run in the second inning followed by
Jon Wandling hit a RBI ground out scoring
Jordan White to even the score in the bottom frame.
Parkside added one in the third before KWC responded in the fifth with two more as
Luis Mila hit a RBI double and
Josh Vance produced a RBI single for a 3-2 lead.
The Rangers brought two across the plate in the sixth before
Mark Hagedorn posted a RBI double to tie the score at 4-4. UWP added three runs in the top of the ninth for the 7-4 extra-inning victory.
Drew Watts started and went six innings giving up three runs and throwing three strikeouts. Noah Boswsell followed with two scoreless innings and two strikeouts.
Colton Slank closed the ninth with two strikeouts and the three runs to receive the loss.
Josh Vance went 3-for-5 at the plate.

Michael Hellmueller, Wandling, White had two hits each.
Luis Mila and White both recorded triples.
In the second contest,
Chase McKee knocked in the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth on a fielder's choice to score
Johnny Dayton for the Panthers 1-0 extra-inning victory.
KWC posted four hits compared to the Rangers nine.
Chaz Simpson earned the complete game shutout win with three strikeouts and nine hits.
The Panthers (15-25, 9-17 GLVC) will host Bellarmine on Wednesday in a rain-out makeup doubleheader on Wednesday at noon.
