College: Transferred Saginaw Valley State University...coached by Walt Head. 2011: Did not play. 2010: Saw action in five games…recorded two plate appearances...had one put out and two assists. 2009: Sat out season as a redshirt.
 
High School:  Three-year starter at third base for Utica-Eisenhower…named to the Mac-Red Division All-Academic Team in 2007 and 2008.
 
Personal: Born October 2, 1990…son of Ken and Tammy Slank…computer information systems major.
