Junior College: Played two seasons at Kankakee Community College in Ilinois...coached by Todd Post. 2010: Pitched 17 innings and 14 games...had 19 strikeouts...won one game. 2011: Posted a 8-2 record with one save...earned 12 starts in 16 appearances...threw 67 innings...finished two complete games...produced 49 strikeouts...had a 3.34 earned run average.

High School: 2009 first team all-State pitcher at Watseka...led the Warriors to a fourth place finish at the state championships with a 24-7 record...named first team All-Sangamon Valley Conference as a sophomore, junior and senior...also earned SVC All-Academic recognition...voted WHS Most Valuable Player and received All-Area recognition in 2009...captured the school's 2008 Most Valuable Pitcher Award...recorded a 1.04 earned run average as a senior...had 13 starts in 14 appearances...posted a school season record 11 victories (11-2) with one save and three shutouts...threw a season school record 124 s.trkeouts...pitched 81 innings...completed 11 games...threw one-hitter...three-year starter...coached by Darin Hartman...also played football and golf for two seasons, and basketball three years...earned all-conference selection twice in football and once for basketball...member of National Honor Society
