Kentucky Wesleyan College head football coach
Brent Holsclaw announced 40 student-athletes from the high school and junior college ranks will be added to the Panthers 2010 recruiting class.
Joining the program will be 12 from Kentucky, 11 from Indiana, five from Ohio, three from Alabama, two each from Florida, Georgia and Tennessee plus one from Louisiana and Texas.
"We are extremely please with this year's recruiting class," said Holsclaw. "They will provide added depth to a team that returns 16 seniors. We have addressed many of our needs offensively and defensively and to say the least the coaching staff is very excited and anxious to start teaching these student-athletes."
Heading this recruiting class are five from Owensboro area high schools including Aquado Douglas, RB, 6-5, 165, Owensboro (Owensboro HS); Heath Garner, OL, 6-3, 235, Beaver Dam (Ohio County HS); Gage Hocker, OL, 6-0, 220, Lewisport, KY (Daviess County HS); Jordan King, DB, 5-8, 160, Owensboro, KY (Daviess County HS); and
Chad McCain, WR, 6-2, 165, Owensboro, KY (Daviess County HS).
