2011: Second-team All-Great Lakes Football Conference…2012 All-Commonwealth honorable mention team as selected by the Kentucky Chapter of the National Football League Players Association Hall of Fame...first in sacks with four and tackles for loss with 12…second in total tackles with 73 and solos with 60…collected a season-high 13 tackles twice...grabbed nine of more tackles five times…had four pass breakups…forced four fumbles and recovered two…had three tackles for loss at Notre Dame College…returned three kickoffs for 26 yards…started 10 games.
 
2010: Second-team All-Great Lakes Football Conference selection…first in total tackles with 58.5 including 43 solos…second in tackles for loss with 11…had one sack…collected two interceptions for 63 yards and one touchdown…recovered one fumble and forced one…two-time GLFC Defensive Player of the Week…started seven of 11 games.

Junior College: Two-year starter at linebacker…named honorable mention All-American…collected 65 total tackles with 45 solos in 2009…had five sacks…recorded three pass breakups…blocked on field goal…posted nine starts as a sophomore…coached by Brian Anderson.

High School: 2007 Second team all-state performer…three-year letterwinner and two-year starter…played three spots on the offensive and two on defense…twice named all-county, all-conference, all-district and all-region…caught 15 passes for 345 yards and two touchdowns as a senior…rushed for 101 yards on 10 carries…collected 113 total tackles including seven sacks…had six interceptions plus five pass breakups…coached by Brad Breland…member of the basketball and track teams for three seasons…played one baseball…named all-district…member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes…served as Student Council Vice President…chosen by classmates as the Class Favorite, Most Athletic, Best School Spirit and Friendliest.

Personal: Born April 7, 1989 in Union, Miss…son of Clarence and Stacie Thompson…his brother, Octavius, plays wide receiver for East Central Community College.
